Movie-Night Gets More Social
As shoppers, much of what we buy is influenced heavily by our friends but consumed alone. Movies on the other hand, are things we not only hear about from our friends but they are also purchased and experienced together. Going to the movies is inherently social.
For that reason, today we’re thrilled to announce that Transformers fans can now purchase tickets to Transformers 3: Dark of the Moon without leaving the website where they spend more time with their friends than anywhere else: Facebook.
2011′s Summer Blockbuster
Paramount Picture’s summer blockbuster, Transformers 3: Dark of the Moon, launches this week and for the first time ever, fans can purchase tickets to the movie directly on their Facebook home page.
A Transformers 3 movie trailer and online ticketing feature will begin appearing in your Facebook News Feed after ‘liking’ the Transformers 3 Facebook Page. You might also receive invites from friends as they buy their tickets or you can plan a night out at the movies on the Transformers 3 Facebook Page movie ticketing store.
