5 Fashion Brands with Facebook Shopping

So you are a fashion brand dabbling with the idea of creating a social shopping experience for your fans on Facebook. Where do you turn for inspiration? Here are 5 fashion brands that have created different types of Facebook shopping experiences. 7 For All Mankind

7 For All Mankind’s Facebook page has a shop tab and news feed stores. The shop tab allows users to browse the brand’s catalogue, add items their cart, and checkout without leaving the application on Facebook. Users are also able to share specific items with their friends and create wish lists that can be shared with their friends. The news feed stores are published in status updates by 7 For All Mankind and include special sets of items 7 For All Mankind has chosen to promote. These stores turn viral in the news feed when users share the stores with their friends. Checkout occurs without leaving the news feed. News feed store shown below.

Tory Burch

The Tory Burch Facebook page includes a shop tab. This shop tab allows users to browse the brand’s catalogue, add items to their cart, and then it takes the user off Facebook to complete the checkout process. Tab store shown below.

Express

Express includes a shop tab on it’s Facebook page. The store allows users to browse the brand’s catalogue, add items to their cart, and checkout without leaving the application on Facebook. Users can comment on items in the store and add items to their wishlist. Tab store shown below.

Diane von Furstenberg

Diane von Furstenberg features a “Wrap of the Month” on a tab on it’s Facebook page. Users can add the wrap to their cart and then checkout on the DVF website. Wrap of the Month tab shown below.

Oscar de la Renta

Oscar de la Renta features a Facebook exclusive product each month on a shop tab on it’s Facebook page. It also publishes a news feed store in it’s wall posts that contains the product. Users can share the news feed store with their friends in their news feeds. Checkout occurs without leaving Facebook in both the tab store and news feed store. News feed store shown below.
