Chief Executive Officer, 8thBridge
Wade is 8thBridge’s Founder and Chief Executive Officer. Wade was most recently the Vice President of Product Strategy for Oracle Retail. Best Buy, Walmart, Tesco, Nordstrom, Carrefour and over 200 other leading global retailers accelerated their business growth with merchandise optimization solutions developed under Wade Gerten’s leadership during his 10 year tenure at Retek and Oracle Retail. Wade helped grow Retek from 20 employees in 1995 to the largest retail-specific enterprise software company. Retek was acquired by Oracle in 2005 for $630 million.
Duncan is the President of Infor, the third largest provider of enterprise applications and services with over 70,000 customers in 164 countries. Prior to Infor, he was General Manager and SVP of Retail Global Business Unit, at Oracle where he was responsible for managing Oracle Retail’s solution groups, strategic planning, product development, sales, service and support. Prior to joining Oracle, Duncan was the chief strategy officer for retail software leader Retek, which Oracle acquired in 2005. From 1992 to 1997, Duncan worked for Accenture’s Consumer Products Practice, focusing on retail, distribution and supply chain.
Founding Managing Director, Split Rock Partners
Prior to founding Split Rock Partners, Michael was Managing General Partner of St. Paul Venture Capital, which he joined in 1995 and focused on software and services investments. He is an active supporter of the local entrepreneurial community, and works closely with organizations providing guidance to emerging companies. In addition, Michael served as president of the Minnesota Venture Capital Association in 2000 and 2001. He began his venture capital career with the Harvard Management Company. Earlier in his career, he was a management consultant with Bain & Company, where he assisted clients in the development and execution of corporate strategies.
Senior Managing Director, Trident Capital
Evangelos focuses on investments in Internet and software businesses. Prior to Trident, Evangelos spent 5 years as a partner at Apax Partners, a private equity and venture capital firm where he invested and served on the boards of early and mid-stage IT companies. At Apax he also chaired the firm’s IT advisory board. Prior to entering venture capital, Evangelos had more than 20 years experience in high-technology industries, in executive roles spanning operations, marketing, sales and engineering. His experience as a technology executive includes serving as President and CEO of Customer Analytics, a Trident-backed, eCRM company acquired by Xchange, Inc. (NASDAQ: EXAP), and as Vice President of Business Intelligence Solutions at IBM.
