Ticketmaster, the largest seller of tickets globally, has one of the largest e-commerce sites on the internet and approximately 7,100 retail outlets. Established in 1976, Ticketmaster serves more than 10,000 clients worldwide across multiple event categories, providing exclusive ticketing services for leading arenas, stadiums, professional sports franchises and leagues, college sports teams, performing arts venues, museums, and theaters.

Ticketmaster partnered with 8thBridge to launch the Ticketmaster Facebook Timeline app. People could add the app to their Facebook Timeline to share their plans to attend concerts, concert attendance itself, and ticket buying with their friends. Users could purchase tickets in the app without leaving Facebook. Once a person had added the app to their Timeline, they could receive event recommendations based on their Likes and Listening activity through music services like Spotify, integrated with Facebook.
